    Shopping in Glasgow

    Just like the largest towns in the United Kingdom, Glasgow is host to a number of shopping complexes that cater to every whim and need. Starting with the Buchanan Galleries, which is relatively new and has managed to capture the attention of the public very quickly to the St Enoch Centre, which remains Europe’s largest glass structure.

    Located on Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street, Buchanan galleries not only offers a pleasant shopping experience with brands ranging from John Lewis Department Store, H&M, Habitat, Mango, and Next, but it’s easy accessibility and award winning park space means that it’s the preferred destination for the locals.

    However, if you’re looking for something which is more family oriented, then the St Enoch centre is the right place. From playing areas to a two-man ride simulator, the entire complex is geared towards appeasing their young customers and as such has top names including Debenhams, Boots, TK Maxx and Bhs selling their wares.

    Dining in Glasgow

    With Scotland’s history of gastronomic feats and churning out world-class chefs such as Gordan Ramsey, it’s no wonder that dining scene in Glasgow is trendy and traditionally sound.

    For tourists looking to get a whiff of the local cuisine, Black Sheep Bistro represents an option both easy on the wallet and appeasing to the taste buds. World famous creations such as the Haggis, mountainous ice creams meringues and a generally appetizing take on Scottish fare will be on the menu and is definitely worth a visit if you’re around St George's Cross.

    Leaving a legacy of Michelin-starred delights, many have picked up Ramsey’s mantle and although none of them are yet to be rated in the esteemed category, the food there still does justice to the price tag.
