How to Clean Out a Hip Flask
Hip flasks are small, thin containers contoured for holding distilled beverages. These flasks are frequently made of stainless steel or silver, and their size and shape are suited to a trouser pocket.
These small containers are usually contoured to match the hip or thigh of the owner and fit comfortably in the trouser pocket next to hipbone. The use of hip flasks dates back to the Middle Ages, and are back in vogue today. They are traditionally filled with alcoholic beverages and are used to steal a sip in a public place where use of hard liquor is prohibited.
A hip flask is a perfect container to transport liquor, but it can also used to store the liquor for several days. Hip flasks are usually made from stainless steel. Since carrying such a container in a public place is illegal at some places, some modern flasks are made of plastic to evade detection by metal detectors.
Because of its narrow opening, it can be difficult to clean a hip flask thoroughly, like you wash a wider glass or steel container. However, it can be cleaned out well using a water and acid solution.
