How To Make Body Paint

Body Paint is a form of Body Art that also includes Tattoos, Piercings, Scarification, Branding, Scalpelling, Full Body Tattoo, Henna and Sub Dermal Implants. The best aspect of this form of Body Art is that the body painting last only for few hours and can be removed very easily.

Most of the people use Body Painting to show their support towards certain cause, issue, sporting event or a specific team. Unlike henna, Body Painting comes in several colours, and can even be mixed with other lotions and creams to ensure that it does not harm or damage your bare skin.

Things Required:

– Jar
– Body Cream
– Brush
– Saucepan
– Solid Shortening
– Cornstarch
– Food Colour
– Spoon
– Colour Tablets

    Using Body Cream:

    Crush few colouring tablets of your own choice. Add it to the body cream, and whisk them together properly. If you desire to have a strong colour, then add more crushed coloured tablets, and if you need to lighten up the colour then add more cream to the mixture.

    Store it in the jars. One can prepare the body paint well before the event, as the colouring tablets will not be spoiled after adding in the body cream. You can apply the paint with the help of your fingers or you can also use a brush.

    Using Kitchen Items:

    No kitchen in the world will be without solid shortening, cornstarch and food colours except they are out of stock. So, one can easily make Body Paint from the kitchen items without facing much fuss. For creating a Body Paint from these items, you need to combine the solid shortening and the cornstarch in a jar.

    Use 1 ½ tablespoon of shortening and 3 tablespoons of cornstarch. Add water and stir it together well until a thick colourless mixture is achieved. Add the food colouring to the mixture while stirring constantly. Add colour according to your own liking. However, this type of body paint cannot be stored, as the cornstarch hardens within a few hours when exposed in the air.
