How To Make an Egg Shampoo for Shiny Hair

The best possible solution to all these issue is to make your own homemade shampoo with some natural ingredients. Egg shampoo is one among the simple but useful homemade shampoos. Actually, raw eggs contain the best natural protein for hair, which is immensely useful in toting up body and impressive volume to your hair. Additionally, Egg Shampoo will leave your hair feeling yielding and soft, maintaining its natural shine.

Time Required: 10 to 15 minutes
Utensils Needed: bowl or blender, fork or whisk and an empty bottle

Ingredients:

– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon liquid castile soap
– ½ cup water or herbal tea
– 5 drops of essential oils

    Mix Egg and olive oil

    Break one large egg into a medium bowl and top it with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Use a fork or whisk to beat up the mixture until both of the ingredients mix together and smoothly watery.

    Add in lemon juice and herbal tea

    Stir in 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and ½ cup of herbal tea or water.

    Add essential oils

    Now add 5 drops of any of your favorite essential oils and continue blending for few minutes until it form a watery smooth mixture. The drops of essential oil will overcome the raw egg’s smell and add nice scent to your egg-shampoo.

    Pour shampoo into bottle

    Carefully pour your natural egg shampoo into a dry empty bottle and seal it by placing the lid at the top. Now shake the bottle vigorously for few second until thoroughly foamy.
