1
First of all, recognise your fears. Once you completely understand the problem, the situation will certainly ease up. It may take a few days to reach the conclusion, so be patient.
-
2
After recognising your fear, you have to be very rationale about it. It is natural to have fears, so if you have a fear of losing life, it is good to have fears. Being rationale is to understand whether you can do it.
-
3
Make it impossible to say ‘No’. It means that you are fully committed to yourself. If you are afraid of skydiving, you should make gradual progress towards saying ‘Yes’.
If you are scared of spiders, there is no need to confront a bunch of them. Look at the cartoon, and control your reaction. Try to play with their photos, followed by a confrontation with a dead spider. Slow and steady wins the race, always believe. -
4
Take motivation from others. Look what others are doing. If a 40-year-old person is riding a roller-coaster – the one you are afraid of despite being younger, you can have a go. If your health is fine, there is no need to be worried about getting hurt.
-
5
Fake your reactions. If you are afraid of going to a crowded place, go there with a mindset that nothing will happen. If your phobia still worries you, don’t react and try to act normal.
-
6
By changing the way of thinking, you can always change the way you act. Try to forget the past. Put a fun element in things you are scared of. There is no need to be an extremist in the beginning, because it s a slow process.
