First of all, make sure that your laptop has sufficient battery, because uninstalling a big program may take several minutes. After reaching your home screen, you need to click on ‘Start’ menu. Go for the ‘Control Panel’, which will be very prominent in the ‘Start’ menu.

Click on the ‘Add or Remove Programs’ - the symbolical representation of which is a disk alongside a box. You may have to use either single or double click to open it.

A long list of installed programs will come up on your screen. You can scroll down to find the one you want to get rid of. Click on the program you want to remove. Ignore the ‘Repair’ option and click on ‘Uninstall’ button.

A warning message will come to you. Click on yes, letting the process go on. Depending on the program, you may go through a series of steps.
Keep clicking on ‘Yes’ to complete the process. It might take several minutes. Once the procedure is completed, the program will automatically disappear from the list.
