How To Apply Daytime Eye Shadow

Usually, women like to wear strong and dark makeup on eyes, when they go on evening parties and other functions. Dark colours definitely give women a dramatic and extraordinary look in the dark. However, this is not the case in daytime. Soft and light colours should be chosen by women, to give a perfect daytime look to their eyes.

To apply the daytime eye shadow, you do not need to be a professional makeup artist. In fact, apply the eye shadow is easy and one can comfortably apply it at home. Therefore, do not spend plenty of money by going to the parlour for the eye shadow. In fact, do it at your home and save the cost for something more important.

    Take a light-coloured highlighter shade and apply it on your eyelid. Make sure you cover all the area, from lash line to eyebrow. This will work as the base of your daytime eye shadow.

    Take a contouring brush and use it to apply a medium shade on the crease of your eye. After you are done with applying the shade, smudge it slightly. It will subtle the overall effect of the shade.

    Now you can use your dark shade as eyeliner. Take a thin and pointed brush and dip it in the colour. Now draw a line right next to the line that you created with a medium shade. Make sure you hold the brush just like you hold a pen in your hand. This will make it easy for you to draw a straight line. If you find it difficult, you can use a soft pencil liner instead.

    Take a wide brush and blend all the shades by applying it in soft and circular motion. If there will be any separation of colours in the shades that you applied, the brush will mix them all up and will remove any demarcation.

    Apply a coat of mascara and allow it to dry, before you apply another coat of it. You will now see a complete and beautiful change in your looks and you can now go on the daytime party.
