Instructions
-
1
Before going through any facial treatment, you have to properly clean up your face. Wash your face with a cleanser or merely your routine soap and dry it with a towel. Tie back your hair with a hairband.
-
2
Put one quarter cup of water in a saucepan and heat it over the stove until water starts boiling.
-
3
Then add green tea leaves to the hot water and reduce the heat to low. Wait for 10 minutes so that green tea leaves simmer properly.
-
4
Remove the saucepan from the stove and add just three to four drops of essential oils you selected. You can use any essential oil to add fragrance and comfort to your facial steam. Only few drops will serve the purpose, as the essential oils have strong scents.
-
5
Now lean over the saucepan to expose your face to the steam coming out of it. Put a towel over your head, covering the saucepan as well and making a tent.
-
6
Take the steam for almost five minutes. Dry up your face afterwards and apply your favourite skin toner to close the opened pores of your face.
