    Make Preparations

The next step is to make preparations for the paint process. Make sure that you remove all the furniture out of the room. If that is not possible, cover the furniture with the old sheets of cloth or newspapers and make sure that all the flooring is also covered. This will be useful in case there is any kind of paint dripping. Also prepare the paint outside the room as a spill inside can be disastrous for the floor. Also cover the trim with the masking tape to protect from paint spoiling them.
