Ramen Noodle Salad Recipe

Salads are used with every meal nowadays and there is a huge variety of options to choose from. One of the most delicious salads is the Ramen Noodle Salad. This is a delicious salad made with a combination of vegetables and noodles and a host of other ingredients. Many people prefer to have the salad in breakfast also as it is very light and is a low calorie meal.

The salad’s recipe is easy and the dish can be ready in 30 minutes. The basic steps are the same as to boil the noodles and prepare the dressing, but the taste is very unique in comparison to other noodle salad recipes.

Ingredients:
Chicken flavoured ramen noodles (3 ounce each): 4 packages
Frozen green peas: 4 ounces
Mayonnaise: 1 cup
Diced celery: 1 cup
Drained and sliced water chestnuts: 1 can
Diced red onion: ½
Diced green bell pepper: ½

    Add the noodles from all four packages to a deep bowl. Fill the bowl with water making sure that all the noodles are dipped. Place the pan on medium heat and leave it until there is a boil in the pan. When there is a boil, drain the noodles from the pan and rinse under cold water. Add the noodles to a large bowl and set aside for use later

    In a separate bowl, add the cup of diced celery, water chestnuts, peas, green bell pepper and red onion. Stir the ingredients in the bowl with a wooden spatula and mix well until everything is combined. Pour the ingredients from the bowl to the noodles bowl and firmly stir the combination.

    The mixture in the large bowl should be nicely stirred so that all the ingredients from the small bowl enrich in the noodles. Make sure to use a wooden spoon only on the sides of the bowl to mix otherwise the noodles could break into smaller pieces

    To prepare the filling, mix together the 1 cup of mayonnaise and the ramen noodles seasoning mix. Whisk the two ingredients until they are completely combined. Now pour the dressing over the noodle mixture and toss the large bowl until the dressing coats from top to bottom. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours before serving for best results
