Begin the preparation by cooking your bacon. Place a wide, deep skillet on the stove over medium-high heat, and put in your bacon slices. Cook them until they turn an even brown on both sides – this should take around 10 minutes. Once they are cooked, drain them on some paper towels, and chop them up once they have cooled.

You are now ready to begin assembling your quiche. First, spread all your spinach on to the very bottom of the pie crust, and top it with a layer of the chopped bacon, green onion, and Cheddar cheese. Then, pour the egg mixture over it all, and top it off evenly with the grated Parmesan cheese.

Slide it in to the oven, and bake it for around 35 to 45 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the top becomes golden brown and puffed. Test for doneness by inserting a knife in to the centre – when it comes out clean, take the quiche out of the oven. Serve warm or cold, as per your preferences, with a fresh green salad on the side.
