How To Repair Sagging Car Ceiling

One of the best aspects of a new car, is the interior. When someone purchases a new car the interior usually proves to be one of the primary areas of the car that the user focuses on. This is because they spend most of their time inside the car as opposed to outside it.

Now as time passes, this interior of the car starts to get a little deteriorate. One of the most common areas of any car to lose its initial impact is when its ceiling gets all droopy and saggy.

This is something that happens in all cars over time, especially if you live in an area with extreme climatic changes.

However, all hope is not lost as it is very simple and easy to overcome this problem and remedy the situation at hand.

    Remove

    The first step is going to be to take out the old saggy ceiling that is currently in your car. This is going to be a tricky thing to do, so it would be smart to take your time with it and carefully remove it. You don’t want to rush into things, since you might end up damaging other areas of the car.

    Once you have gone on to remove the ceiling, there are going to be some forms of left over ceiling parts and foam that will be stuck to the roof. You must now go on and remove these as well, since you want to have a good clean surface on which to place your new car ceiling.

    Apply adhesive

    Now, once the old ceiling is out and all the left over parts have also been removed, the next step is to go on and apply adhesive to the area where you will be applying your new ceiling.

    Insert

    After you have gone on to apply the adhesive, the next step is to go on and place the ceiling liner and all the other material in place.

    After having done this, you need to attach the ceiling to the car firmly and make sure there are no loose ends. You can go on and use some tools to ensure that there is a snug fit and that there are no droopy areas on your new ceiling.

    You also need to ensure that the ceiling has been inserted rather evenly and that you didn’t forget to attach all sides of the ceiling to the car.
