How to Write a Contract for a Nanny

There has been a considerable increase in the demand of nannies. In this fast paced world, couples are doing multiple jobs and they find it hard to give proper time to their babies, thus they require a babysitter or a nanny to give full attention to their baby while they are away. This not only decreases their workload but they are also able to perform with full potential at work. No doubt that the hiring process of a nanny can be very exhausting but once they get through this, there are no difficulties anymore.

Some couples often underestimate the need to enter a formal agreement with a nanny but later experience problems. It is always beneficial for both parties to enter a contract while performing any activity, which involves exchange of money or services. Going through the hiring process and then writing a contract may sound stressful to you but remember that it strengthens the relationship of both parties. Remember that, this activity involves mutual agreement of both parties at the points mentioned in the contract.

While formulating a contract, you should keep in mind that it should safeguard your interest along with the interest of the nanny. It should clearly define all the duties, responsibilities, remuneration, evaluation and holidays.
