Ideas for Church Valentine’s Crafts for Children

It may not be wrong to say that had there been no kids, perhaps many occasions and events would pass by silently. It is because of kids that many events around the world are celebrated with a bang. Hence, when it comes to Valentine’s Day celebrations children shouldn’t be forgotten. Provided that Valentine’s Day has to do a lot with St. Valentine, it would be a good idea to engage kids in the decoration of your local Church with some colorful crafts and pages indicating certain historic events. One such craft is a Denim Bible Cover that can be made quite easily without much effort.

Things you need:

Make sure that have all the required items available at the spot so that you do not have to get up and look for them every now and then.

In the same way as the copies are covered, cut an opening about 1” from the edge of the binding, which will help in gripping the front cover of the book, repeating the same procedure for both sides.

    Equal space on both sides

Now fold the openings that you have made just like wrapping a present using hot glue to stick the denim and preventing it from adhering to the book.

    Glue denim to denim

Once the denim is properly glued, remove the cover to put on the jewelry cord and the alphabet beads using the needle and scissor by cutting into two pieces, with one being 6” and the other 12” long.
