Instructions

  • 1

Measure the width of the corner bead

First of all you need to determine the width of the corner bead. You need to take measurements from both sides and then mark it with a marker. This is to determine from where to rub off stucco.

    Chip off the old stucco

After marking the width of the corner beads on both sides, you need to rub off the stucco till the markings. You can do this with help from a hammer or a chisel.

This process is messy so lay a sheet or tarp underneath the area. This will help you get rid of the mess easily.

    Remove the old corner bead

You should get rid of all the unwanted stucco until the area is clear. After this, you need to remove the old corner bead.

Next measure the area for stucco stops and then cut it to the appropriate size as well. Then place it with the help from adhesive or glue.
