Put a nozzle at the end of your hose. Ideally, the nozzle must control the output of the water, but if it is not available, a simple nozzle would also be useful.

  • 5

Now, put some water in the dumpster, and add a couple of cups of liquid bleach or any other disinfectant.

Allow the liquid bleach to stay in the dumpster for 15-20 minutes. Clean with the water, hosing down the inside of dumpster.

Let the water drain out. You can always put the dumpster in the sun, leaving it open to dry. Don’t put any garbage until it is completely dry.

After ensuring that the dumpster is totally dry, put it back to the original place. It is clean, and ready to use once again.
