How to Make Wedding Mints
Wedding mints are made from cream cheese dough and are an absolute treat to the taste buds. Serving size: The ingredients below make 50 mint balls
Utensils: mixing bowl, waxed paper, candy mold
Ingredients:
– 3 oz cream cheese
– 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
– 1/4 tsp. mint flavoring
– food coloring

You need to make the dough first. Take out the mixing bowl and pour in it the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix in 1/8 tablespoon of the flavoring. If you believe you should add more flavoring, do so at this stage. Knead the ingredients together. You can also use the food processor. Add in the coloring of your choice and mix it in. Make a hard dough out of the mixture.

Take small portions out of the dough and start rolling it into tiny balls on your palm. The size of the balls depends on your own choice and molding. Try to keep a standard size. Coat each ball that you make in granulated sugar and place it on a wax paper.

Once you are done making balls, take each one of them and press them one by one into the candy mold. Turn the mold over and hit it on the back over your hand so that the mint drops into your hand safely. Do this with all the balls you made.

To store mints, place them on layers of waxed paper inside airtight containers and refrigerate them. They can be frozen like this for a few weeks.
