    This day is for honouring teachers, and in many countries, just like Lebanon, it is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The date for this holiday varies in different countries.

    21st - Mother's Day

    This day is celebrated to honour mothers all over the world.

    25th – Feast of the Annunciation

    This is another holiday celebrated by the Christians of Lebanon, as it marks the visit of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, where Mary was told that she would be the mother of Jesus Christ.

    Labour Day is celebrated as a holiday in Lebanon just like all over the word.

    6th - Martyrs' Day

    It is a national holiday in Syria and Lebanon to honour the Syrian and Lebanese nationalists who were executed by Jamal Pasha in Beirut and Damascus in 1916.

    This is to mark the independence day of Lebanon, which it gained in 1943 from France.

    This is to mark the death anniversary of Al-Hussein ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

    1 Shawwal - Eid ul-Fitr

    This holiday lasts for three days, marking the end of the month of Ramadan.

    10 Dhu al-Hijjah - Eid al-Adha

    This holiday is for three days, where Muslims slaughter goats, sheep or camels as sacrifice.
