Then place the carpet flooring tiles besides the lines from the middle of one wall to the other. Make sure that you have not placed tiles on the lines.

You should cut the titles in order to make them fit to the edges. For that purpose, put the tile on a cardboard and use a carpet knife for cutting the tile.
