How to Make Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Spaghetti is a universally favourite dish and is loved by adults and children alike. The noodles remain more or less the same, but the sauce makes all the difference. Spaghetti cooking has become a lot easier and convenient with the advent of canned sauce options. However, a true cook at heart will never resort to such options unless he is very short on time. Nothing on the market shelves tastes better than your own homemade spaghetti sauce. You can alter the ingredients and their quantity according to your taste while in ready made options you do not have that privilege. Making your own sauce is extremely easy and does not take much time if you have the ingredients at hand.

Chop and prepare the vegetables well in advance before starting to cook. Doing so will help you keep the pace without any interruption during cooking and will also make work easier.

Take the pan and place over medium heat. Pour in the ground beef and cook until it gets brown totally. The beef is optional and you can make the sauce without it. Make sure that the beef is well cooked through before you proceed. However, do not let it burn.

Add the diced tomatoes to the pan. Open up the tomato paste and pour it in over the diced ones. Stir well with a wooden spoon so that all the ingredients mix well. Keep cooking on medium heat.
