How to Exercise Abs While Sitting
Exercise is not only good for the body but also for the mind. One should always take some time out from work or any other commitment, to exercise and sweat out. We usually tend to gain an ungainly belly that is the outcome of long hours at the office. If you think that the routine you follow has no time for such activities, there is no reason for you to worry as there are some exercises that you can carry out in very limited of spaces, such as in sitting position.
This will not only help you in staying fit, but will also aid you in blowing some steam off at work.

Sitting on a chair with a decent posture will help you in carrying out the exercise. The way you put stress on your muscles.The key is to keep your back straight. If you get too comfortable then all your effort will go to waste.

The main thing you need to do is to put stress on your abdominal muscles. While sitting on the chair, raise your feet perpendicular to the seat and try to touch your toes. Repeat this motion at least twenty times. This way, not only you will work on your abs, but your thighs will also feel a little strained.

Put your feet on the ground. Your hands should be in a cross position on your chest. Keep the hands firmly kept on your chest and move your knees up to touch your chest. Keep your body straight and repeat this motion several times. It might be a difficult exercise to execute for the first few times but with practise you will gradually get the hang of it.

You can do the exercise as mentioned in the previous point but in this step you need to do it with one leg at a time. Keeping the other leg a few inches off the ground while lifting your leg towards the chest.
