How to Use a Lemon to Lighten Your Skin

Natural ingredients can be used in many ways. They also do not have any side effects. That is why most of our beauty care products have natural ingredients like fruits. One of the most commonly used ingredient is lemon. Lemons do not only make tasty lemonades but are also great for the skin. They are widely used in skin care products due to their lightning properties. Over the years, dust and sweat dull your skin tone and leave you with an unattractive complexion without any natural gloss. This is what you have lemons for. From skin to juice, lemons work hard on getting you a lighter skin tone. They contain citric acid, which lightens skin tone. Women kill for a lighter skin tone; no matter which part of the world they belong to. Bright shining skin is what women strive to achieve through skin care products. There are many ways you can use a lemon for this purpose. The change is slow but for sure.

Things Required:

Lemons
– Powdered milk
– Glycerine

    Simple lemon juice:

    Squeeze out fresh juice from lemons. Mix it in equal amount of water. Pour them into a empty container or a spray bottle. Apply it on your skin through cotton balls. Apply anywhere you want to lighten. Most people use it on the neck and the face.  Leave on for twenty minutes and then rinse off well.  For sure results, do it daily or at least thrice a week. If you do not have time to squeeze the lemon juice and put it in a jar, simply slice a lemon and rub it on the skin.

    Lemon paste:

    Lemon lotion can be prepared using lemon juice, honey and powdered milk. Take 1 tablespoon of powdered milk and mix it with an equal amount of fresh lemon juice and honey. Mix the ingredients well and then apply it on the skin part you want to lighten. Leave it on for thirty minutes. Now rinse off with light warm water and moisturize with a lotion. This works best on lightening dry skin patches. Apart from lightning, it is a good moisturizer and you will have softer skin.

    Lemon and tomatoes:

    Both of these are known for their skin brightening properties. Squeeze out fresh lemon juice. Grate two tomatoes. Blend the juice with the tomatoes to make a paste. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it on for twenty minutes.  Rinse off well. Do it twice daily for three weeks and it is nature's promise of a lighter skin complexion.
