French Nationals
French citizens will not need to apply for a visa before heading off to Mexico. They will be given a 180 day stay but will need to fill out a FMM immigration form which is available at the point of entry and on the plane. Nationals of the following countries also have the same criteria:
Allemagne, Andorre, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Corée du sud, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, El Salvador, Spain, Estonia, USA, inland, ance, Greece, Hungary, Hong-Kong, Iles Marshall, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Lettonie, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Malaysia, Malte, Micronésie, Monaco, Norway, New Zeland, Palau, Panama Paraguay, Pays-Bas, Pologne Portugal, Roumanie, République tchèque, Royaume-Uni, Saint-Marin, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela

If the country of your citizenship does not appear on this list, then you will need to visit the embassy and apply for a visa directly in order to make a trip to the country. -

Visa Requirements
a) Completed application form. This document can be downloaded here or can be picked up from the embassy.
b) A valid passport is required along with the application. The document must be current for the entire stay in Mexico.
c) The embassy also requires photocopies of all main pages of the passport.
d) A round trip ticket with confirmation.
e) Original proof of stable finances is required. This can be three payslips, three months bank statement, and an employment letter. You should also send in copies along with the original.
f) 1 Color passport size photograph. -

Submitting application
The Mexican embassy does not accept any mail delivered applications and all forms must be delivered by hand. -

Processing times and fees
The Mexican embassy in Paris requires at least 2 days to issue visas after all forms have been submitted. They charge a fee of 40 Euro and this must be paid in cash. -

Receiving Visa
In order to pick up your passport with visa, you must visit the embassy personally. However, the consulate does allow individuals who reside outside of Paris to provide a Chronopost in order to receive their application in the mail. -
