History
The interesting history behind the Canadian Ski Museum Ottawa shows that its foundation was laid by a group of ski enthusiasts and some volunteers. Its doors were formally opened for the Canadian public on May 10, 1971. It was then integrated under the Canadian Federal Law in 1975. After seven years of its incorporation, Canadian Ski Museum Ottawa formed the “Canadian Ski Hall of Fame.” Since then, more than 140 people famous skiing enthusiasts have been inducted into it. -
