Visa Exempted Countries
The visitors from following countries does not need a visa to enter Tanzania only if they posses valid passport with them.
Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Ashmore & Cartier Island, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Burudi, Botswana, British Indian Ocean Territory, British Virgin Island, Brunei, Burundi, Cayman Island, Channel Island, Christmas Island, Cocos Island, Cook Island, Cyprus, Dominica, The Falkland Islands, The Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guernsey, Guyana, Heard Island, Hong Kong, Isle of Man, Jamaica, Jersey, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Macao, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Naue Island, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Rwanda, Sao Tome & Principe Island, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Island, Swaziland, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Western Samoa, Zambia.
The Nationals of the East African Community does not need either visa or entry permits if they want to enter the United Republic of Tanzania.

Visa Application Form

Requirements
You should have the following documents in order to be eligible for the Tanzania Tourist visit visa from London:
a) Passport valid for at least six months,
b) Visa fee
c) Sufficient funds
d) Vaccination Certificate for Yellow Fever -

Visa Fee
You need to submit $80 CAD for single entry tourist visit visa and $120 CAD for the double entry visa valid for six months. If you want multiple entry visit visa, you should submit $150 CAD for maximum of 12 months stay.
You can submit visa fee in cash or Money Order made payable to the “Tanzania High Commission”. If you want to submit fee in cash, payment can also be made by debit or credit card.

Submission of Application
Applications can be submitted by registered post or by physical appearance by you or any of your relatives. In case of physical submission, you can submit between 9:00 to 4:00 from Monday to Friday in Visa Department of the High Commission.
In case, you want to submit application by postal service, you should select registered service and also send prepaid, self-addressed, stamped delivery envelope with your application to receive visa back to you.

Application Processing Time
You should allow at least five working days to High Commission for the processing of visa application.

Collection of Visa
If you submit application in person, you will have to get your visa back from the Visa Department of the High Commission after minimum five working days. You can collect it between working hours of 9:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday.
If you submit your application by postal service, your visa will be send back to you by postal service. In this case, you may have to wait for more than seven days.

Final Check List
Before sending your application, double check your completed application pack. It should include:
a) Completed application form duly signed by the applicant at the designated place,
b) Passport should be valid for at least six months,
c) Two Photographs each should be in light colour background,
d) Copy of the main pages of the passport,
e) Visa fee,
f) Return ticket,
g) Hotel booking,
h) Proof of funds,
i) Vaccination certificate for the Yellow Fever (if required). -

Things Allowed and Precautions
You should keep in mind the following things to avoid any inconvenience throughout your trip to Tanzania:
a) You should keep your passport with your throughout your visit,
b) You should cooperate with the immigration authorities at any moment,
c) You should avoid to take illegal drugs with you,
d) You can carry only household things, electronics, sports kits, clothes and other things allowed by the Tanzania Government. You should contact Tanzania High Commission to know about the allowed things.
