How to Trademark a Saying
With so many people looking to copy each other these days, it is very hard for any one person to prove to be an individual. This is why everyone needs to do something, which helps them become far more unique than anyone else.
Some people try to do this with the way they dress up, or the way that they interact with others. However, sometimes this can lead to be rather problematic.
Instead, a rather simple way to go about this is to develop a trade mark saying, and to use it every time you get the chance. This will allow people to associate you with that saying, making it your distinguishing call.

1
Pick a catch phrase
The first step to truly making a catch phrase your own, is to go ahead and find one that you think could be associated with you. This can be done in a number of ways.
You can either go around listening at all the catch phrases that currently exist. However, this is not going to be a very original way of doing things. An alternative is to go on and make a phrase up yourself. The phrase doesn’t need to be exceptional, but if you come up with it, you will know for a fact that no one else has used it. -
2
Use catch phrase all the time
Once you have picked out the catchphrase that you are going to be using, the next step is to practically start using the phrase.
Initially, you need not worry about using the phrase out of turn, since the basic focus at this point is to make sure everyone hears you using the phrase.
As a result, you need to get everyone to hear you say the phrase a couple of times, even if it is rather randomly used. -
3
Tell people not to use your phrase
After having done both these steps, the next thing to do is to prevent anyone else from using your phrase. A lot of people are going to try and imitate your phrase, so when they do, you need to remind them that the phrase that was used is yours and that no one else has any permission to use it.
If they argue, just walk away and use your phrase as you walk away for dramatic purposes.
