1
Selection of Oil
You should choose virgin coconut oil as it is cold-pressed and of better quality. For example, all its vitamins and minerals are protected while processing and storage. There are many brands in the market, but many of them are not processed carefully and their quality is generally not guaranteed. -
2
Warm Oil Before Application
Virgin oil is always cold-pressed and comes in frozen format. You will need to warm it up in the microwave or you can do it by rubbing in palms of your both hands for a longer period of time. Do not leave the oil for a longer time in the microwave, you can warm it up in a minute or so. -
3
Application of Oil on Face
Take a small quantity of oil on your index finger and apply it on your face and massage it on one side and do the same on the other side of the face. Also, massage the oil on your face for some time, starting from the chin and upwards. The massage can help your skin absorb oil and it can stay moisturized for a longer period of time. Also, apply oil on your lips and other areas around your face, under and around the neck, which you may have left during massage of your face. -
4
Massage Body
You can also massage the coconut oil on your entire body the same way you have done on your face. Take a reasonable amount of oil on your palms, rub in between both palms of your hands and then massage your body parts one by one. The fatty acids can quickly get absorbed into your skin and leave your skin moisturized and radiant.
