How to Make Spicy Baked French fry Wedges

No matter how many times you have them, you are always up for them the next time you want something crispy, tasty and filling. Potatoes are filling and full of carbohydrates. The wedges can be enjoyed on their own with a dip or sauce of your choice. They also make great side dish to burgers, sandwiches and roast. Since the recipe here makes baked wedges, they are low on fat and cholesterol content and so are a healthier option over fried french fries. Ingredients:
Baking potato: 1 large
Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder: 1/2 teaspoon

    Preheat your oven to 425 degrees so that it is warm and ready when you put in the wedges.

    Wash the potato well. Since we will be baking them with the skin to make them crusty, you will wash the skin well. Cut the potato into wedges. Now place the wedges into a mixing bowl.

    In another mixing bowl, add olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder and onion powder. Mix these ingredients well. Pour it over the wedges and mix well to coat well. You can make the wedges spicier by adding more chili powder.

    Place the wedges on a the baking sheet and put it in the pre-heated oven. Bake the potatoes in the oven for 45 minutes or until they are well browned. Serve with the main dish like burger or with a dip.
