Children love eating spaghetti, so mothers often cook it at home. However, they taste better with meatballs and there are a lot of nutritional benefits of this recipe. Preparing the spaghetti with meatballs can be a little time consuming, but it is definitely worth the wait.
Ingredients
- Hamburger meat - 2 lbs
- Onion - 1
- Eggs - 2
- Bread crumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Ragu sauce - 1 can
Instructions
- Add butter to a pan and heat until it melts.
- Once the butter melts properly, chop an onion and add it to the pan. In order to make sure that it does not burn, cook it on medium/low heat.
- Fill one large bowl with water.
- Add the breadcrumbs into it and let the mixture settle in.
- Add meat into a medium sized bowl.
- Add all the seasonings to it plus the eggs.
- Mix all the ingredients properly. You can use your hands for this purpose.
- Add breadcrumbs to the meat, so that they don’t break while you cook them.
- Add the minced onions into the bowl.
- Coat the pan with oil and heat it for a couple of minutes until it starts making sounds.
- Using your hands, make the meatballs.
- Fry the meatballs in a pan.
- Cook the meatballs until they become golden brown.
- In order to prepare the Spaghetti, you will have to boil the noodles first, so that they become tender.
- Cook the Ragu sauce on medium heat. It will take about 20 minutes to get ready.
- Once it is done, add the noodles to it.
- Finally, combine the spaghetti with the meatballs and serve to your family.
