How to Make an Instant IPhone Tripod
Over the last few years, smart phones have become an important part of our lives, allowing us to experience new innovations in the world of technology. The iPhone has turned out to be a huge success and is one of the most popular smart phones in the world. Apart from a proprietary operating system, the software platform supports a wide variety of applications.
Nevertheless, taking pictures remains one of the most popular uses of an iPhone. While the iPhone certainly delivers better than average photos, the lack of a tripod can put off serious photographers.
A professional tripod can be a little expensive, but if you are smart enough, you can easily make a tripod at home using common household items.

1
Use a plastic cap
Make two equal vertical cuts in a plastic cap of any aerosol can or any similar device. The cut should be approximately 10 mm apart. However, the width of the cut can be adjusted according to the size of the phone, or if you are using a case or a protector. The safest option is to cut the cap about half way down. -
2
Cut from the opposite side
You need to turn the cap 180 degrees and cut it from the opposite side as well, ensuring that all the four cuts are equidistant. -
3
Crease
In order to create a permanent crease in the plastic, you need to push the two flaps (that you have created) out and downwards. Stretch them softly in order to avoid breaking the plastic into pieces. Make sure that flaps return to almost a horizontal position when they are released. This will provide additional stability to the iPhone. -
4
Angled cuts
You can cut the plastic to a different angle in order to have the option of taking photos from a horizontal or vertical position. You just need to repeat the above mentioned steps with an angled cut of about 30 degrees.
