JBR Beach Dubai Overview

Jumeirah Beach Residence Beach is by far one of the biggest beaches in Dubai and completely free for all locals, expats and tourists.  This beach is situated along the Dubai Beach front close to the JBR walk where you can frequently find many crowds of people.  It is open all day long, with fewer crowds during the weekday.  On the other hand, the weekends at JBR are fairly crowded since after all it is a great place for the family to enjoy swimming and sunbathing.  People can admire the beautiful sunsets and enjoy the day relaxing with cold refreshing drinks; while reading or working on their laptops. With the ample parking available throughout JBR, visitors can park inside at the beginning of the sandy area.

There have been complaints about the traffic reaching a standstill during the busy times in the evenings and weekends.  Traffic even scares away taxi drivers when they know they must make their way through the throngs of people and cars at the JBR Beach Area.  With this being said, if you are the type who loves the crowds of people, entertainment with excitement all around then this is the best place for you.  During, the National UAE Day the locals take to the streets of JBR and display their love for their country by playing loud traditional music.
