    Short Term

In the short term, spraying an air freshener or your cologne/perfume in the car can mask the odour, however if your vehicle is regularly smoked in, these solutions will not be enough as the same old smells will return.

Longer term solutions are outlined below.

    White Vinegar

Mix 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water together. Place the solution into a spray bottle and thoroughly spray the interior of the car. Roll up all windows and close the doors. Allow the car to sit in sunlight until the solution dries. This should take a few hours.

    Baking Soda and Lemon

Mix 6 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 cups of water. Add 6 table spoons of lemon juice (squeezed or bottled) and place the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the interior of the vehicle well and allow it to sit in the sun to dry. Ensure that all windows are up and doors closed.

Lemon juice's citric acid works well at ridding the smoke smell.

    Rubbing Alcohol
