    Apply ice

It is always best to apply ice to the bruises as soon as they occur. The ice will decrease the swelling process and make the color of the bruise lighter, helping to get rid of it quickly. However, never make the mistake of applying ice directly to the bruise. Instead, use an ice pack, a cold compress or simply wrap ice cubes in a towel or a plastic bag.  Gently apply the ice pack to your bruise and hold it for approximately 10 minutes. Now, remove the ice pack and let your bruised area thaw for the next 5 minutes. Continue the same process for at least an hour in order to get instant results.

    Apply healing cream

Another amazing formula for healing your bruise is to apply a good quality healing cream or an arnica gel right after the icing process. Make sure that your cream contains vitamin A and K, as both these vitamins will speed up the healing process and help you get rid of bruises quickly. It is better to apply the cream at least twice a day.

    Try homemade remedies

You can also try some useful homemade remedies like chocolate. Grab a medium mixing bowl and place a chocolate bar in it. Now, microwave it for a few minutes until completely melted. Take a cotton ball, dip it into the chocolate mixture, and gently apply it to your bruise. Keep it uncovered during the daytime but make sure to wrap it with a bandage before you go to bed. Remove your bandage early next morning using lukewarm water and great care. Now, wipe the chocolate off carefully, and notice great improvement in the bruise.

    Apply warm compresses

However, at the end of the day if you do not feel any improvement, apply warm compresses directly to the bruised area. Take a small soft towel, wet it with mildly warm water, and apply to the affected area. Hold the towel for a few minutes and then remove it. Repeat the same procedure approximately three to four times a day and feel the difference.
