How to Make a Stout Home Brew
Stout is a type of beer made from roasted malt or barley. It is one of the most tasty and common type of beer around the world. You can easily make the stout brew in your home by following procedures. You can even add ingredients which you desire.

Ingredients:
Munton and Fison stout kit: 2 cans
Extra dark dry malt extract: 3 pounds
Chocolate malt: 2 cups
Malt: 2 cups
Roasted barley: 2 to 2.5 cups
Boiling hops: 3 ounces
Finishing hops: 1 ounce
Ale yeast
Moss: ¼ teaspoon
Corn sugar: ¾ cup

Soak barley in water
First get a pot and fill it with water. You need to add around six cups of water. Then add barley into the pot and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. You should pour in two to two and half cups of roasted barley. -

Boil
After soaking the barley in water, you need to boil it. Put the pot on the stove and heat it. -

Draw out grains when boiled
When the water starts boiling, you need to draw out barley from the pot. Get a bowl and place the grains in it. Remember that barley and the pot will be hot so you need to take proper care while handling them. -

Use extract and boiling hops
Next you need to add the boiling hops and the extract into the pot containing boiling water. You need to add three ounces of boiling hops and three pounds of extra dark dry malt extract into the pot. Let the mixture boil for almost an hour. -

Add moss
After adding boiling hops, you need to add moss for almost 45 minutes. Pour ¼ teaspoon of moss in the pot. -

Add hops
Next you need to add finishing hop after boiling. Let it soak for almost 15 to 20 minutes. -

Cool and drain
In the end you need to cool down the mixture. Then remove the excess yeast and other components. The liquid which is left behind is your home brew stout.
