Coconut pineapple pie is a perfect cuisine for the special events in your life. You can easily make it at your home with few ingredients and can enjoy your time while eating it along with your friends and family. Furthermore, it is one of the most delicious and healthy diets for the people of all ages.
Ingredients
  • Shredded coconut: 1 cup
  • Vanilla: 1 tsp
  • Crushed pineapple, drained: 1 cup
  • Flour: 3 tbsp
  • Butter, melted: 6 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1½ cup
  • Unbaked 9-inch pie crust: 1
Instructions
  1. First of all, you have to preheat your oven to around 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Then, take a large bowl and beat the eggs in it until they become thick. However, you don’t have to make the eggs too downy by beating.
  3. Add sugar, flour, coconut, vanilla, crushed pineapple and half of the butter in the bowl containing the eggs. Mix all the ingredients well with each other.
  4. It is very important for you to place the aluminium foil around the corners of the crust so as to keep it safe from burning before placing it in the oven. In addition, you have to put the remaining butter on the pie.
  5. Place the foiled mixture in the oven and bake it for around 50 to 55 minutes. Keep an eye on the pie while it is in the oven so that it may not get overheated. Just take it out when it looks firm and brown.
  6. Then, you have to let the pie cool down by placing it aside after taking it out of the oven.
  7. Your coconut pineapple pie is ready to be served. You can use cheese as a topping or any sauce of your choice.
