How to Make a Delicious Ritz Meatloaf
One should keep experimenting with new recipes every now and then. The experimentation however should be done on food products which can be tried with many flavours and variations. Meat is definitely one of those products and can be served in so many different ways. Meat loaf is certainly one famous variation and has many recipes. Perhaps the most exotic of those recipes is that of the Ritz meatloaf. It is easy to cook, but takes a bit of time.

Ingredients:
Ground beef: 1 1/2 pounds
White bread, torn into small pieces: 3 slices
Tomato juice or milk: 1 cup
Finely chopped onion: 1/2 cup
Egg, beaten: 1
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Bacon fat: 1 teaspoon
Mushrooms (Optional)

Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. -

Chop onions and add to bowl
Take half cup chopped onions and put them into a large sized bowl. You can slice the onions using a sharp knife or a chopper. The latter option is better, as it will save you some time. -

Add bread pieces to the bowl
Tear bread into small pieces and add to the bowl with chopped onions. You can also use bread crumbs. -

Mix remaining ingredients
One by one, mix all the ingredients into the same bowl and keep mixing them together. The mushrooms are optional, but they will certainly make the taste better. -

Combine the ingredients with beef
You can now combine the mixed ingredients with beef, but you will need to grind everything before baking in the oven. -

Stuff the mixture into loaf pan
Once you have grinded the ingredients nicely, stuff them into a loaf pan. Make sure that you have pressed the meat nicely into the pan so that it stays compact. -

Bake for 90 minutes
Now, bake for 90 minutes in order to get your delicious and juicy meatloaf. -

Remove from oven and allow to cool
Finally, you can remove the meatloaf from the oven, but don’t serve it straight away. Allow it to cool down a bit first and then enjoy.
