Making chicken salad from canned chicken is an excellent way of saving valuable time. Although chicken salad can be easily made from fresh or frozen chicken, people prefer to make it using the canned chicken as they do not have time to cook the chicken.
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise
- Celery
- Grapes
- Nuts
- Raisins
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Onions
- Salt
- Pepper
- Herbs
Instructions
- Take a mixing bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise to it.
- Add all the required ingredients including hard boiled eggs, onions, apple, carrot, cherries, chopped celery, halved grapes, chopped nuts and raisins into a mixing container.
- Add ½ cup of fresh water into the mixing bowl and stir using a wooden spoon.
- Add a small amount of vinegar to the mixture.
- Open the cans of chicken and remove all the broth.
- Cut the chicken into small cube pieces and add it to the mixing bowl.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly using the same wooden spoon.
