The first step is moisturising the microwave bowl. It is an extremely important step, as the moisture prevents the eggs from sticking to the base of the bowl.

To moisturise the cooking bowl, spray or grease the bowl with cooking oil or butter. You may do it with the help of a cooking brush, but using a spray evenly distributes the moisture in the bowl.

Now, it is the time to crack the eggs. Before start beating, pour a tablespoon of milk into the bowl. Use a fork to mix both ingredients together, turning it into a mild liquid.

There is no need to prepare eggs for more than 2-3 persons at a time. Cracking too many eggs will eventually confuse you about the right quantity of other ingredients. After whisking milk and eggs, add salt, bacon and ham according to your taste.

Place the bowl in the microwave for at least 60 seconds. Make sure the power is 100%. When removing the bowl, use mitts because you may find it hot.

After one minute, the eggs will be partially formed. But the process is not complete yet. Stir them gently with a fork in order to expose the uncooked parts of the eggs. Put the bowl again into the microwave.

Set the timer to 30 seconds and wait for the eggs to turn solid. You may have to turn on the microwave another time, if the eggs are not completely formed. But make sure you don’t set the timer to more than half a minute.
