Verizon’s Negligence Dropped Iphone from the No.1 List

According to analyst’s observation it is known that Verizon Wireless has been paying way more attention towards the advertisements of the 4G Smartphone, due to which iPhone was not given a chance to improve its sales.

Verizon’s negligence has dropped iPhone form the list of number one choice for Smartphone sales. Especially customers on the Verizon Wireless platform are switching their choice from iPhone towards the 4G Smartphone.

Through a survey it has been analyzed that since February 2011 iPhone being the best choice for customers has declined.

Verizon is very much interested in advertising the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX specifically.

On the other hand analyst William Blair and Anil Doradla thinks that iPhone is not considered as the best Smartphone, because customers are anxiously waiting for iPhone 5 and they would rather wait for the latest version than wasting money on the older phone. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy SIII is also grabbing a bigger Smartphone market share.

Analyst Doradla stated that, “While we acknowledge the increased competitive landscape from 4G devices (and the iPhone 4S is not 4G), we are not worried [about] Apple conceding its top position in North America any time soon. We believe the anticipated launch of a 4G device from Apple this fall will be an important catalyst for the company as consumers upgrade their phones, and we expect the company to once again maintain its top position at all operators (including Verizon Wireless).”

According Doradla since September 2011 till March 2012 Apple iPhone is on the top position in the Verizon Wireless Smartphone Ranking, but in June 2012 Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX took the lead and placed Apple iPhone in its shade.

In America Apple iPhone is still the best selling Smartphone, still its force is considered in great pressure.

The analysts are just waiting for the iPhone LTE to enter into the market and see whether it can snatch the market from Google Android or not.
