How to Survive a Dizzy Spell

Dizzy spells are most common after overeating, especially during lunch time. This is one of the most common sights in workplaces as employee feel lazy and sleepy after a heavy lunch, which hampers their performance. If you are feeling dizzy at home, you easily take a small nap and feel better; however, this is not possible at work. A night of drinking alcohol can also cause dizziness and tiredness for the next day or two.

Some people normally give in to dizziness, believing that it cannot be countered. However, this is not true and you can survive dizzy spells by adopting various methods.

    If you are feeling dizzy at work or while driving, you need to take a little break and have a hot cup of tea or coffee. It will increase the blood flow in your body and will surely help you get rid of dizziness.

    Artificial energy drinks are usually not recommended by health specialists; however, in a state of dizziness, you may go ahead and have a can/bottle of a branded energy drink. It will freshen up your mind and body for a period of time, helping you perform your duties efficiently.

    If you are in the middle of something important but are finding it hard to concentrate and work properly, it is highly recommended that you ask your boss for a break of 15 to 20 minutes. Go to the waiting room and take a short power nap. These power naps are actually very effective and can instantly help you feel better.

    If there are too many people in the waiting room and you need silence for a nap, go in your car and take a nap there.
