How to Make a Roy Rogers Cocktail

The Roy Rogers cocktail is a classic non-alcoholic beverage that earns its namesake from the famed and celebrated old time actor. You better know Roy Rogers as ‘King of the Cowboys’ who often appeared on TV with cowgirl Dale Evans. And since he’s the most recognized cowboy of the world, the drink named after him will have a special taste.

The beverage itself is extremely simple in its preparation, however produces a wonderful tasting beverage that can be enjoyed by both young and old. Although the drink is great choice for casual parties as well as official gatherings, it’ll be great to try it at friends’ party.

The drink is sometimes called Cherry Cola as well, but whatever you name it, the taste is just great!

Prep time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:
Ice
Cola (Coca-Cola works best)
Maraschino cherry
Grenadine

Instructions

    Ice in Glass

    Fill your glass halfway to 2/3 of the way with ice.

    Coke Time

    Open your cola can or bottle and fill the glass the majority of the way with the delicious dark brown stuff.

    Grenadine and Mix

    Add between 1-2 teaspoons of grenadine syrup to the glass and mix the cola and syrup well.

    Garnish and Enjoy

    Top your drink off with a maraschino cherry and it is ready to serve. Enjoy the drink and make as many as you have mouths to drink them!
