The VSC has made the process easier for the British Nationals as well as for the Nationals of other countries. The service allows the applicants to apply using online system. Visa Types
There are two types of tourist visit visa for the Azerbaijan.
i. Tourist ordinary Visa, given to all foreign citizens want to visit Azerbaijan
ii. Tourist with special tourist voucher Visa, is given to groups who wish to travel to Azerbaijan.

Requirements
Following are the requirements that should be completed in order to get a tourist visit visa from London.
(a) Completed application form that should be sign after filling up and printing.
(b) One recent passport size photograph that should be attached with the application form. Do not attach the photograph with stapler.
(c) Valid Passport that should be valid for at least three months before the visa for the Azerbaijan expires.
(d) Signed invitation letter from the host company/organisation/hotel in Azerbaijan.
(e) In case of group, you need to submit a signed tourist voucher on the letterhead of the travel agency. You can see a Sample Tourist Voucher Letter of Invitation.
(f) Passport holders of the EU member states and European Economic Area must provide a photocopy of at least two of these.

Visa Fee
Fee for the single entry tourist ordinary visit visa valid for three months is £79 including charges for normal service while fee for the single entry tourist visa (with special tourist voucher) is £86 including normal service charges. Fee can be submitted in cash and postal order made payable to the “Visa Service Section Limited”. You can also pay fee using debit or credit card, however remember service charges are applicable.

Submission of Application Form
You can submit your application in person or by post.
By post
If you want to submit your application by postal service, you should make it sure that your application package is completed and include all documents required by the Embassy. You must also provide pre-paid, Royal Mail special Delivery envelope for return delivery.

In person
If you want to submit your application in person, you should take your fee with yourself. Obtain a queue number upon arrival at the visa section of the Embassy. Your number will be called and submit your application to the relevant desk. The desk officer will provide you with a receipt that you need to keep with yourself. You will have to show it when you come to collect your visa.

Processing Time
Standard time for the processing of the applications is five working days.

Receive or Collect Visa
If you submit your application in person, you need to visit the Embassy to collect your visa in person. Show your receipt and collect your visa. Before leaving the centre, make it sure that you have got your original documents and all the information on the visa is correct.
If you submit your application by post, Visa Centre of the Embassy will send you back after issuance of the visa. You will receive an e-mail that you provide on the application form when your passport is being returned to you.
