    Requirements


    Greenland tourist visa is not required by for the nationals of Great Britain for a stay up to 90 days. So before getting to Greenland UK nationals must possess following documents:


    A passport with at least 90 days validity following their exit date from Greenland. However, it is better to travel with six months valid passport at all times.


    Tourists passport must have no less than two free or three blank pages, so it can be used for visa stamp or sticker.


    Thirdly confirm from your airline if any transit visa is required for connecting flights overseas on the way to Greenland.

    A normal Schengen visa is not valid for the Faroe Islands or Greenland. So if the applicant have an intention to travel to these destinations then, he or she will require to have a Schengen visa issued by a Danish mission with the phrasing in the comments section on the visa: "Valid for the Faroe Islands" or "Valid for Greenland".


    a)      Such applicants need to fulfil following requirements to acquire the Schengen visa.


    b)      A completed and signed visa application form.


    c)       Mention total number of days of your stay and the period of validity (first date of entry to the last day of your final visit) requested if you are applying for 2 or more entries.


    d)      A national passport with two free pages for visa stamp or sticker (with at least 3 months validity) or other valid travel identification.

    g)      Provide evidence of occupation or student status.


    h)      Provide hotel reservation in case you are not staying at a private place.


    i)        Proof of sufficient funds (last 3 months bank statement).


    j)        £60.00 per person per day if staying in a hotel.


    k)      £40.00 per person per day if staying in a hostel or parallel.


    l)        £20.00 per person per day if staying with family or friends (even when your host has confirmed that he or she will bear all your expenses). In addition to that funds for a return ticket to the country of your residence.


    Note: Consulate can ask for additional documents in some cases.

    Cost of Schengen Visa


    The visa fee must be paid at the time of submission of a visa application and it is non-refundable.


    Children under 6 years of age will be charges (up to age 6 minus one day) £ 0.00.


    Children from 6 t 12 years of age (up to age 12 minus one day) will be charged £29.00.


    All other children and adults have to pay £50.00 as visa fee.


    Whereas, nationals of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine have to pay £29.00.
