Circle Tube Line in London
A total of 35 stations are covered in Circle Tube Line which has a total distance of 17 miles. The Circle tube station is named so, because the route of the trains and tubes that run in it was in a circular path. The tube comprises of 3 circles in total i.e. the middle circle, the outer circle and the super outer circle. The middle circle tube travels from Aldgate to Mansion House, the Outer Circle from Broad Street to Mansion House and the Super Outer Circle from St. Pancras to Earl’s Court. The two stations of circle tube line were bombed in July 7th 2005, which were reconstructed soon afterwards. Since, the trains here are constantly moving in a circular path therefore, there is a very less time for recovery and maintenance.

History of Circle Tube Line:
The Circle Tube Line started its initial route service in 1863 and it was from Paddington and Farringdon Street, in the same year the inner circle was also built. Again in 1868 a new station was added to the route of the line and likewise the line had new stations that were kept adding into the route forming a circular path, on 7th of July 2005 an unfortunate incident of terrorism happened and as a result two of the trains of the line were bombed resulting in the closing of the whole line temporarily. However, during December 2009, the circular route was extended further towards Hammersmith forming more than a circle and the continuous loop of the traveling of the trains in circular path was broken.
