In 1981, the first Jewish School, Akiva Primary School was established in a three storey building, which previously was a convent. Being an independent (Fee-paying) school, Akivia was basically inaugurated for the Jewish community, but right now several overseas students are admitted in this institute, especially from Israel and South Africa. Besides OFSTED, the outstanding features of the school were also appreciated by the Pikuack, which is a Jewish inspection organization. This Jewish primary school is not only giving academic education, but also teaches students to respect their religion Judaism and have love for Israel. Under the observation of highly educated and friendly staff, each student acquires special importance, along with ultimate standards of teaching and learning.     Finchley Central Station is the closest underground station; the transit is 0.8 mil ways from the school. By walk it will take 17 minutes to cover the entire distance. You will have to initiate your march in the northwest direction on the Regent’s Park Rd/A598.  After passing the roundabout, head towards Pavilion Mews.
