How to Make a Greyhound Cocktail
Greyhound cocktail; don’t get astonished by the name, you will not find a cute little dog running up to you! Nor will you find a hound demanding you for a glass with its tongue sticking out. This summery drink is named as greyhound because it is inspired by the famous drink, Salty Dog. If vodka is replaced by gin, then Greyhound is converted into a Salty Dog (pun-intended!)
This simple drink in considered ideal for pool parties, day time formal functions or casual gathering of friends. Though the number of ingredients is two, but the fusion created by them is magical. You will actually feel that the shot of vodka is chasing the flavor of grapefruit in your mouth. Instead of using plain vodka, try adding strawberry, pineapple, grape or cherry flavored vodka because it will definitely enhance the flavor. If you receive unexpected guests then this drink can definitely help you in preparing a perfect welcome drink, because it requires very less time for preparation.
