How to Join a Hapkido Club
Hapkido is a form of Korean martial arts, that is designed to help people practice the art of self defence, since you never know just when it is that you might have to protect yourself in Korea, or any other part of the world.
Now the martial art is mainly based on various locking techniques, the immobilize your opponent, but it also has a fair number of attacks, that come in the form of blows.
What really makes this martial art stand out in the crowd is simply the fact that it also lets you use weapons and this means that it pretty much covers just about everything.
Nonetheless, you aren’t going to end up getting really good at it on your own, and will require to join a group in order for you to take your Hapkido skills to the next level.

Practice
The first thing that you need to do is to remember that you are going to be the worst member of the Hapkido group that you might end up joining. In order to avoid this from happening, you need to put in a lot of time practicing before you can even think of joining the group.
Make sure you dedicate a fair share of your daily time to practicing your skills, or you could end up having a lot of fun made of you later on should you fail to do this. -

Search
Once you have gone on to practice enough and feel that you are ready to join the group you need to go ahead and scout your local neighbourhood to find any groups that are practicing Hapkido in the open.
This is going to be very hard for you to do, so remember to hit all the gyms and every area where you think they could be practicing it.

Pass initiation
Once you have managed to locate the group after a lot hard work and dedication, the next thing that you need to do is to go ahead and pass the initiation. Now this is going to vary based on what group you want to join, but you need to remember that in order for you to make it to the group, you need to pass this.
