Take your time:
While writing you should try to always take your time and never rush through it. Pace yourself even if your thoughts are running wild and you want to put them down on paper. By taking time to write you can increase the focus on your writing. -

Read it out loud:
Take some time to read your own writing out loud to hear what it sounds like. We all have many different thoughts running through our heads and try to put them down in our writing. However, sometimes it does not sound write and reading your material out loud will give you a chance to actually hear what you are trying to say in words. -
5
Relax:
Remember to relax before writing. Once you are relaxed your writing will be more fluent and you can take time to ensure that each word has meaning. -
6
Proofread:
Make sure to proofread your work. If something does not look or sound right then remove or replace it. This will help you focus on your writing. -
7
Give to others:
Give your writing to other people that you know to read it and give their feedback. When someone else reads your work they can give you some critical insight in to what might be missing or ask you to clarify something that they might not understand.
