How to Detox the Liver Using Blue Green Algae

Detox diets are great for refreshing and cleansing the body, and ridding it of any harmful or noxious substances. There are several natural ingredients that can be used as the core of a detox diet, one of which is spirulina, a blue-green algae that is great for detoxifying the liver. Loaded with amino acids, minerals, enzymes, and rhamnose sugars, spirulina contributes to healing and protecting the liver, and is particularly beneficial for patients suffering from cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis. The result is a purified and healthy liver, boosted by the properties of spirulina, and ready to serve the body once again.

Things Required:

– Spirulina
– Raw vegetables
– Fresh fruit
– Lean meat protein
– Apple cider vinegar
– Distilled water

Instructions

  • 1

As a part of your spirulina detox diet, begin each day by whipping up a healthy, tropical smoothie. This should include 200 to 500g of unripe (green) papaya with the skin left on, a host of other fresh tropical fruits, and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Toss all this into a blender, pulse until smooth, drink it down, and after 20 minutes, follow it up by consuming 10g of spirulina.

Cut fat and grease out of your diet, and start eating fresh fruit, plenty of greens, and occasional lean protein. Vegetables and fruits are alkalizing, so make sure these form the main part of your meals, and are supported by a small serving (around the size of your palm) of lean protein like chicken, fish, or veal.

Wait 20 minutes after each meal (lunch and dinner), and then take 5g of spirulina. You can also sprinkle spirulina on your food, and intensify the diet by incorporating apple cider vinegar into it. This can be used in salad dressings, and as a tart ingredient in sauces. Other small ingredients that should be incorporated into your diet include cayenne pepper and olive oil.

Another great way to include apple cider vinegar is to incorporate it into your drinking water – this will boost the effects of your daily spirulina intake to a great extent. You will need to drink 1/4 of your body’s weight in ounces of water (preferably distilled) everyday, and add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to every 30 oz. of water.
