How to Fix a Laptop Keyboard Key

Repairing a laptop keyboard is not that hard. By following the right procedure, you can easily perform this task without needing help from an expert. It is recommended to take your time when dissembling the keyboard of your laptop as all the sensitive hardware is right underneath. Unlike a desktop keyboard that is connected externally to the unit, laptop’s keyboard is located directly above the computer itself.     If you accidentally spilled water on the keyboard, shut off the keyboard as soon as possible to avoid further damage to the hardware. Remember that water can come in contact with the sensitive hardware and electronic devices if you do not shut off the keyboard.     Now hold the laptop upside down to drain the keyboard of any water. If possible, use a towel or a piece of cloth to dry the keyboard immediately after the spill takes place. If possible, gently move the water out of the keys using a towel.
